Fundraising by St John's School PTA

The main aim of the PTA at St John's School is to raise money to run projects to improve the learning environment of the children.  By raising funds through the many events that the PTA organises (Detail of all events available by clicking here) we are able to buy new library books, equipment, improve the playground area (with new markings and play tables under cover), and upgrade the Reception class garden area to make it a more interactive learning and exploratory area that can now be used all year round.

One of the key themes at St John's is family, everyone across the St John's family being involved to create a safe and succesful environment for all.  Many of the projects undertaken by the have been completed with student consultation, for example, the new playground markings were raised by the School Council (Made up of students from across the school) and designed by pupils from the classes they represented.
